ATD DDIC (I) 1: Designing and Delivering Incident Command Training Skills for Justice Level 5 Award)
The course aim is to provide learners with the knowledge, understanding and skills to design and deliver incident command training. The qualification is aimed at incident command trainers for emergency services including: - fire and rescue - police - military - ambulance - others. It reflects the aim of the Joint Emergency Services Interoperability Program (JESIP) to standardise multi-agency command of incidents. However, it is written in such a way to enable individuality and focus on the needs of each specific service. ADT FI (I) 1: Introduction to Fire Investigation in Fire and Rescue Services (Skills For Justice Level 2)
To develop learners' skills and understanding of the fire investigation, enabling them to carry out the role of Tier 1 fire investigator.
ATD IC (I) 1: Initial Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services: Initial (ICL1 – Skills for Justice Level 3 Certificate)
To develop learners' skills and understanding of the Incident Command System, enabling them to carry out the role of incident commander and sector commander. The course meets the requirements of the National Occupation Standards WM7, and also satisfies those of Skills For Justice level 3 award in initial incident command in fire and rescue services.
ATD IC(I) 3: Intermediate Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services: Initial (ICL2 – Skills for Justice Level 4 Certificate)
To develop learners' skills to enable them to carry out the role of incident commander at tactical level. The course meets the requirements of the National Occupation Standards (NOS) EFSM 2, and of the Skills for Justice Level 4 Award in Intermediate Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services.
ATD IC (I) 5: Advanced Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services: Initial (ICL3 – Skills for Justice Level 6 Certificate)
To enable learners to carry out the role of commander at the most serious incidents, operating at multi-agency silver level either on scene or remotely. The course meets the requirements of NOS EFSM 2, and those of the Skills For Justice Award Level 3 in Advanced Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services (QCF Level 6).
ATD IC (I) 7: Strategic Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services: Initial (ICL4 – Skills for Justice Level 7 Certificate)
The course aim is to develop skills and capabilities of learners to enable them to confidently carry out the role of incident commander operating at a multi-agency gold level at a remote location and commanding the largest and most serious incidents on scene. The course will satisfy the requirements of Skills For Justice Award Level 4 in Strategic Incident Command in Fire and Rescue Services(QCF Level 7).
